Attorney General Merrick Garland said yesterday that he "personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant" for former President Donald Trump's Florida home and that the Justice Department filed a motion to make the warrant public. Trump said yesterday that he would not oppose the motion. The Justice Department has also asked to publicly reveal what FBI agents found inside the property during a search earlier this week.

Actor Anne Heche, 53, is not expected to survive her injuries following a fiery car crash on Aug. 5 in Los Angeles that left her in a coma, a spokesperson told TODAY last night. "Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne Heche suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition. She is not expected to survive," the spokesperson said. "She will be remembered for her courageous honesty and dearly missed for her light." Police told NBC News yesterday that Heche's "blood draw revealed the presence of drugs" and said the case is being investigated as a felony DUI traffic collision.
