Burrage stopped the match and ran to get him a Gatorade and a nutritional gel before some spectators chipped in a bag of Percy Pig, a popular British gummy candy. Playing in her home country in one of the sport's most prestigious tournaments, Burrage was looking out for more than herself. "I just reacted how I think anyone would," she said. "He was not in a good spot. I just tried to help him out as much as possible." |
