Running can be great for both exercise and stress relief – and outdoor running has the bonus of getting you out in nature.
If you haven't run in a long time, check with your doctor to make sure you're ready, first. Then, find the right shoes, a few basic running clothes and it's time to get started – as slowly as you need to. It's ok if you're not racing around your local park on day one or even week one. A running buddy, a training schedule and some apps can get you motivated to get out there and stick with it.
