Use a few spare minutes, or even seconds, to slow down, focus your thoughts and get the most out of your present life. Suze Yalof Schwartz, author of "Unplug: A Simple Guide to Meditation for Busy Skeptics and Modern Soul Seekers" has some techniques and tips for how to fit calming meditation into your busy schedule.

You can start by doing a "curl for your brain." There are three basic steps: focus on a single point, then let the focus go to realize how your mind scatters to many different thoughts, then bring your focus back to the single point. Become very aware of everything you're touching and breathe in specific patterns, depending on your situation, to help you get into a focused state.

She gives more techniques for balancing your brain through meditation and how to find the time in the story below.
