Every good manager meets with their staff on a regular basis – so why not meet with your spouse in the same manner? Adam Grant, a professor of psychology at Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania, suggests finding a regular time to go through "stuff" with your significant other.
"Sometimes, the meetings are five or 10 minutes. Sometimes we have more to go through and they last longer. We provide updates on what needs to be done and give each other feedback," he said. It works for him and his wife! The meeting helps them prioritize what tasks are most important to each of them. |
