Be circumspect concerning love and money matters since this Venus-Pluto square is influential for many hours. Keep in mind that although solar, planetary and lunar aspects have a precise moment of exactitude, they build up in intensity for several hours (even days!) before and stay in effect for several hours (even days!) afterwards. Therefore, on any given day, you are really dealing with several alignments from the previous day or days, the new group of alignments on the day itself, and the build-up of upcoming, near-future alignments. This can explain why the impact of certain 24-hour time-periods is much stronger and extreme than the write-up infers. Another major astrological cycle happening today is the Superior Conjunction of the Sun and Mercury -- energizing 2 degrees of Virgo (1:57PM). The concept of a Superior Conjunction comes from the realm of astronomy as right now the Earth, the Sun and Mercury (on the far side of the Sun) are all lined up in the solar system. Astronomers consider this a Sun-Mercury Superior Conjunction while several months ago and several months in the future, there will be an Inferior Conjunction of the Sun and Mercury while Mercury is retrograde. The terms superior and inferior do not imply greatness versus weakness, but rather outer versus inner (in regard to the placement of Mercury either beyond the Sun or in between the Sun and the Earth). This Earth, Sun and Mercury line-up can also be thought of as a Full Mercury -- as named by the great American astrologer Dr. Marc Edmund Jones and then popularized later on in the writings of another superb astrologer Dane Rudhyar. Tune into an abundance of brilliant ideas that are flooding human souls and humanity as a whole with divine intelligence. Note: Sci-fi classics, in book or movie form, are energized by a Sun-Neptune contra-parallel (11:52PM). However, steer clear of decision-making around the time-period this aspect is strong.
