Nora Gross was singing in the front row of the children's choir at her church's annual concert when she decided to just give in to the music. The 3-year-old adorably spread her arms and twirled before hugging the instructor in the middle of the song. She then conducted the choir herself to the cheers of the crowd in a video shot by a parishioner. "When I saw her moving, I thought to myself, 'Oh no. What's about to happen?'" her mother tells TODAY.com. |

Charlie Hicks, 78, has been a regular at the Shrimp Basket in Pensacola, Fla., for a decade, popping in daily for a cup of gumbo and chatting up chef Donell Stallworth. When Hicks didn't show up one day in September, Stallworth went and checked on him at his home. His simple act of kindness saved Hicks' life after Stallworth discovered Hicks had suffered a fall. "He means a lot to me," Stallworth tells TODAY.com. "You know, he's Mr. Hicks, but he's that uncle, that granddad, that best friend now." |
