The former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" shared a pair of photos of moles on her back that she said are being removed or biopsied after announcing that she was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma. Mellencamp, 41, urged her followers to get checked for skin cancer after describing her experience as a "wakeup call." "Moral of this story: if a doctor says, 'come in every 3 months' please go in every 3 months," she wrote on Instagram. "I so badly wanted to blow this off. 'What could happen in 3 months?' I thought. Apparently a lot." See all her photos here. |

When Edith Lemay and Sebastien Pelletier learned three of their four children would lose their vision due to a rare genetic condition, they grieved. Then they packed their bags for an adventure. The Canadian family shared with us the extraordinary story of how they hit the road after children Mia, 11, Colin, 7, and Laurent, 5, were diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, which is causing each one's eyesight to slowly degrade. The journey has taken them from the steppes of Mongolia to the wilderness of Tanzania, all in an effort to "fill their visual memory with as much beautiful things as we could." Fall is all about comfort food, but that doesn't mean your meals can't be "veg" forward. Chefs Yotam Ottolenghi and Noor Murad stopped by to share two delicious, homey vegetarian dishes: cauliflower shawarma with herbed tahini (seen above) and baked polenta "pizza" with spiced tomatoes. Both are loaded with bold flavors to keep the whole family happy, while the warm, golden colors, crisp edges and hints of green and red look like a fall harvest on a plate. |

Forget Cabbage Patch Kids; little Parker Eckstein's best pal looks more like a Funeral Plot Friend. But Parker, who is 3, doesn't care. Toronto mom Kourtni says Parker brings her ghoul friend, Dolly, everywhere she goes ever since the two met in Walmart's Halloween section. "I turned around and Parker (had) this creepy doll and wouldn't put it down," Kourtni told us. "I was like, 'Whatever. I'll buy it for her. She'll get over it in a day.'" She didn't — in fact, Parker now has a second scary friend, Sissy, who is "Dolly's sister." On TikTok, people are loving Parker and her zombie pals. "My daughter had a scary doll she loved more than anything," one fan said. "I'm glad you let her be herself." See more adorably ghoulish photos + videos here. |
