Shaunna Burke, 50, has incurable Stage 4 cancer, but the associate professor at the University of Leeds shared how she was able to maintain her fitness in order to achieve her dream of summiting Mount Everest. “If you get a diagnosis, life isn’t over. Just keep going, whatever your Everest is," Burke told TODAY.com in a virtual interview from base camp.
