In an essay for TODAY.com, Carson Daly described the "pinch me" moments during a trip to the Vatican last weekend in which he was able to meet Pope Leo XIV. Carson, who has often spoken of his Catholic faith, revealed the heartfelt request he made on behalf of his children during the "heart-pounding" seconds in which he was able to speak to the pope.
Jess Wilson makes sure to never miss a holiday with her 85-year-old father, who makes it convenient by not adhering to the actual calendar. Her dad split with her mother when she was 11 and proposed the solution that holidays didn't have to fall on their designated dates in order to avoid any potential conflict. "He's always said, 'We can create the magic whenever we want,'" Wilson tells TODAY.com. "The magic of Christmas morning is made by the family. It doesn't matter if it's the 25th on the calendar."
