Jane Goodall, the legendary zoologist, primatologist and anthropologist who was widely regarded as the world's most knowledgeable expert on chimpanzees, died of natural causes at age 91, the Jane Goodall Institute announced yesterday. Goodall studied primates in Tanzania in the 1960s with a special focus on chimpanzees and was able to conduct groundbreaking research that changed what the world knew about the animals.
Dr. Michael Milobsky, a pediatrician in Colorado, says parenting styles influence a child's future much less than many parents believe. "We believed that if we could control every little thing, our kids would turn out perfectly, a shining reflection of us," Milobsky, a father of seven children, tells TODAY.com. "But that's a total fallacy." He shared what he believes is the factor that plays the biggest role in determining how a child's life turns out.
