ESPN reporter Lauren Sisler carried a dark family secret for years: Her parents, ages 45 and 52, died of accidental overdoses after each ingested a pack of fentanyl. Both had been addicted to opioids for years but had kept it hidden from their children. Sisler made the choice to speak publicly about it in order to combat the stigma. "I was bound to these shackles of shame, imprisoned by them, and it wasn't until I started speaking out that I began healing," she tells TODAY.com.
Legendary rock band Rush has announced the 2026 "Fifty Something" tour honoring late drummer Neil Peart and the band's music. The tour will feature new drummer Anika Nilles in place of Peart, who died in 2020. "It's time for a celebration of 50-something years of Rush music," the band said in an announcement.
