What the Corporation for Public Broadcasting shutting down means for the future of NPR and PBS. Plus, Dylan Dreyer shares photos of Hoda Kotb and her daughters at Dylan's birthday celebration, and the simple ingredient to blend into your burgers to save money and calories.
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting will be shutting down after Congress passed a bill that cut $1.1 billion in funding for the organization, which supports over 1,500 locally owned and operated public radio and television stations. What does that mean for public broadcasters NPR and PBS? Here's how it could affect your local stations as well as national programs like "All Things Considered" and "PBS NewsHour."
Dylan Dreyer celebrated her 44th birthday over the weekend with a small party that included former TODAY co-anchor Hoda Kotb and her two daughters. Dylan shared photos of her sons Calvin, 8, Oliver, 5, and Rusty, 3, with big smiles alongside Hoda's daughters Haley, 8, and Hope, 6. Dylan dressed in a pink "Birthday Girl" tiara and baby blue sash for the occasion. "I was spoiled by the best surprises ever and felt like a princess!" she wrote. See the photos.
