Officials have identified the son of a sheriff's deputy as a suspect in the Florida State University shooting that killed two people and wounded several others yesterday. Phoenix Ikner, 20, accessed his mother's handgun, which officials said was used in the shooting. A senior at FSU told NBC News the suspect "espoused so much white supremacist rhetoric and far-right rhetoric." He said Ikner, who remains hospitalized, was asked not to return to a political discussion group the two were part of at Tallahassee State College, where the suspect went to college for two years before transferring to FSU. |

Red Robin's new $20 Bottomless Burger Pass, which gives holders a burger served with bottomless sides during the month of May, sold out so fast yesterday morning that the company's website crashed. People shared their frustration on social media, with one joking that it's "literally easier to get tickets to Taylor Swift than it is to get a Red Robin burger pass," and another calling it "a scam." Red Robin apologized for the website crashing and said all of the coveted passes have been sold. |

Best friends Abby Vander Wiele and Rachel Cooper welcomed babies just 14 days apart in 2005 and joked that maybe one day Vander Wiele's daughter, Maggie, and Cooper's son, Malachi, would get married. Approximately 20 years later, it came true, even though the Coopers now live in Florida while the Vander Wieles are in Indiana. Malachi and Maggie, who are now 20, officially became a couple at 16, and they will celebrate their first wedding anniversary in August. "Our moms are like, 'We're going to share grandbabies!'" Maggie told TODAY.com. "I think it's pretty cool that when they look at our kids, they'll see a little bit of themselves in them." |
