One of my January 2025 resolutions – along with eating better, working out every day and drinking more water than coffee of course – was to make better use of my closet. After taking the month to sort through, and purge some things that "no longer serve me," I rediscovered my love for many pieces in my closet. Below, I've rounded up my six favorite items that I consider to be the ultimate must-haves: pieces that have stood the test of time, are incredibly flattering (even if I don't manage to make good on my other resolutions of eating better and hydrating), and can be easily dressed up or down. |

| I have had the spaghetti-strap version of this top for nearly half a decade at this point. It is my absolute favorite summer top. However, the thicker tank version is a great newer addition to my closet that I can easily wear anywhere as either a layering shell or just as a shirt. I will say there are a couple of things to note: it is prone to wrinkling, but after washing and hanging to dry, I haven't had a big issue with it; and it's tight across the chest. When I mentioned "incredibly flattering," this was the shirt I was referring to. It is flowy, but not baggy, and can be tucked in or not, goes with skirts and jeans. It's a very versatile, and I think, nice looking basic that is just good to have in your closet. It comes in a ton of colors and patterns, but I have the black polka dot. | I love Athleta joggers – I have three styles and they are my one-and-only pant that I wear in the spring, summer and fall. They're so comfortable, stretchy and the pull-on waistband doesn't dig. I love them so much that I recommended them to my sister and she loves them too. I'm a size 8 and she's a size 20 and we both find them to be very comfortable.
