Four people were hospitalized after a bull jumped an arena barrier and charged into the crowd at an Oregon rodeo on Saturday night. The bull, known as Party Bus, was captured on video leaping over a barrier and then charging onto the rodeo grounds. Officials said the animal ran through a concession area and a parking lot before livestock professionals managed to wrangle it. Everyone injured has since been treated and released. Organizers said it was the first time anyone could recall such a breach happening since the first event at the arena in 1940. |

Meanwhile, DuBois herself worked to wrap her brain around the cultural shift. "I prefer to think of it as just another form of adolescent exploration," she says. Read the full essay here. |
