| Iowa Hawkeyes guard Caitlin Clark made history last night when she became the NCAA women's career scoring leader, breaking the old record of 3,527 career points. It didn't take Clark long to reach the milestone in the matchup against Michigan, scoring the 8 points she needed during the first quarter. The game paused for a timeout after the historic moment as Clark hugged her teammates. At halftime, the 22-year-old spoke about what the milestone meant to her. "Lucky to do it, because I have really good teammates, really good coaches and a great support system ... but we need to play better defense," she said, her head clearly still in the game.
