House Republicans are expected to vote today after 5 p.m. ET to authorize their impeachment inquiry into the business dealings of President Joe Biden, which they believe will give them the ability to better enforce their subpoenas in the courts. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has accused the president's son, Hunter Biden, and the Biden family of engaging in "shady business practices" but has not demonstrated any concrete evidence of wrongdoing or influence peddling by the president. White House lawyers have previously rejected GOP subpoenas and requests for transcribed interviews with staffers and Biden family members, arguing that the probe is "illegitimate" because the House hadn't voted to authorize it. Emmy-winning actor Andre Braugher, best known for his work as detective Frank Pembleton on the '90s series "Homicide: Life on the Street" and deadpan police captain Raymond Holt on the NBC sitcom "Brooklyn Nine Nine," died at 61 after a brief illness, a representative said yesterday. Braugher earned 11 Emmy nominations in his career, winning twice, including one for his work in the FX series "Thief" in 2006. Braugher also had a role on NBC's "Law & Order: SVU" and made his mark in the 1989 Civil War movie "Glory." "This hurts. The streaming giant shared its most-watched shows and movies from January to June of this year, led by season one of "The Night Agent" (above), which had people engrossed for 812.1 million hours.
