Late last night, a federal appeals court blocked part of a ruling issued last week by a Trump-appointed judge that endangers access to the abortion pill mifepristone, with the decision leaving uncertainty over how accessible the drug would be in the U.S. The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted the Justice Department's emergency request to put on hold the part of the decision issued by U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk that suspended the FDA's original approval of mifepristone. However, the panel determined that mifepristone being distributed by mail would be paused, which imperils widespread availability of the drug because it would require patients to make in-person visits to obtain it. Here's what to know. |

Jamie Foxx is recovering after he had to be hospitalized in Atlanta with a "medical emergency," his rep told NBC News. "His condition was serious enough that Jamie's family, some of whom were not in town, came to the hospital," the representative said. "He is communicating now." The actor's daughter, Corinne Foxx, said her father was hospitalized on Tuesday. "Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery," she wrote on Instagram. Foxx, 55, had recently been filming the upcoming action-comedy "Back in Action" in Atlanta with Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz. |

Prince Harry's turbulent relationship with the royal family does not mean he will miss his father's historic ceremony. Buckingham Palace confirmed yesterday that the Duke of Sussex will be in attendance at the coronation for King Charles III on May 6 in London. However, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and the couple's two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will remain home in California when Charles officially takes the crown in the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, according to the palace. |

A little pick-me-up before you go. |
Wendy's added a delicious roast to the menu yesterday. Al Roker felt the flames when an animated version of Wendy kicked off the fast-food chain's National Roast Day on TODAY at his expense. "Oh, and Al, before you ask — I'm not planning on running for president," she said before making a kissing sound. Wendy was referring to Al's cajoling of President Biden to spill his 2024 reelection plans at the White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday. "I plan on running, Al, but we're not prepared to announce it yet," Biden said. Well played, Wendy. See the video of the moment with Al here. |
