A study of 119,315 individuals over 36 years that analyzed their adherence to four different dietary plans found that those with the highest adherence to at least one of the plans had a lower risk of death than those with low adherence. The four plans included the Alternate Mediterranean Diet (AMED) and the Healthy Eating Index 2015 (HEI). This canine cop is under investigation for not being a very good boy. K-9 Officer Ice of the Wyandotte Police Department in Michigan is suspected of swiping his human colleague's lunch in a case that has dogged investigators. An officer who had to step away from his meal for a minute came back to find out his lunch had vanished. Meanwhile, Officer Ice was licking his chops on the way out of the room. A Facebook post from the department said Ice has "invoked his fifth amendment right to remain silent and quite frankly is not cooperating with the investigation." A surge in support from the public and lack of video evidence ultimately resulted in no charges for Ice. Case closed. |
