| The only thing I love more than the idea of dressing up is procrastinating. So, when I received an invitation in August to my friend's quickly approaching October wedding, I, naturally, put off dress shopping until the week before. Desperate, I turned to Amazon (and it's 2-day Prime shipping) and started furiously thumbing through dresses that would fit the "black-tie optional" dress code. Though I did see quite a few viable options on the site, this one stopped me mid-scroll. I loved the trendy cut-out, the deep V-neck, the full-sleeve and the flattering cinched waist. Quickly I ordered and before I knew it both the dress – and the wedding day – had arrived. When I put it on, it fit me perfectly. (I will say the top is a bit snug, so I would suggest sizing up if you have a fuller bust.) But I wasn't the only one impressed with the dress. At the wedding, several guests came up to compliment me and ask where I got it. And with so many colors, it's perfect for any occasion (the red screams holiday). At only $41, this was one of the best last-minute purchases I've made! |
