New York's attorney general alleges hundreds of instances of fraud by the Trump Organization, and protests erupt in Russia after a rare order by Putin. Plus, the FDA warns people not to cook chicken in NyQuil in the so-called "Sleepy Chicken" challenge. |

A rights group said that more than 1,300 people were arrested across 38 cities in protests that erupted after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "partial mobilization" of 300,000 military reservists yesterday. The move raised fears that many draft-age Russian men will be called to fight in the faltering war with Ukraine. Some Russians were also scrambling to catch the last available flights out of the country after the announcement. It's only the third time in Russian history that the government has called for military mobilization, with the others coming in World Wars I and II. |

The Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning about what's being called the "Sleepy Chicken" challenge, which involves cooking chicken in NyQuil. A video of someone frying chicken in the cold and flu medication was posted at least a year ago and recently reemerged on TikTok, prompting the FDA to respond. "Even if you don't eat the chicken, inhaling the medication's vapors while cooking could cause high levels of the drugs to enter your body," the FDA said. The TikTok video does not use the word "challenge," and it is unclear whether many people were even doing it. |

Add some crunch to your dinner with these cheesy chicken flautas (or, tortillas that are rolled up and fried) with pico de gallo from celebrity chef and TV personality Marcela Valladolid. She also shared some some prep tips, including warming up the tortilla first so you can roll the shredded chicken and veggies without breaking it, and using toothpicks to hold it together. Of course, you have to have chips with the flautas, and Marcella's chile-lime chips with guacamole are the perfect complement. |

A 100-year-old California woman has found the perfect senior match in her adopted 11-year-old Chihuahua mixed-breed dog named Gucci. Johanna Carrington had hoped to adopt another dog to liven up her home after the death of her previous dog, but she was worried a shelter might not let a woman of her age adopt a pet. Her neighbors in Moss Beach stepped up to help her take care of Gucci, and now he has a loving home after being rescued from a hoarding situation involving 22 dogs. "He came to the house like he'd been here before. It was remarkable," Carrington told us. "He saw me sitting on my chair, jumped up on me and sat on my lap. He made himself very, very comfortable. He was just our baby right away." |
