New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser have asked the federal government for help with thousands of migrants from the Mexican border who have been sent there on buses by the governors of Texas and Arizona since early this month. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said Friday the state has sent more than 7,000 migrants to Washington since April and nearly a thousand to New York City since Aug. 5. Bowser has requested help from the National Guard, while Adams has also asked for assistance. Congressional Democrats are calling it a political stunt, while Republicans have argued it's a last resort. |

Brittany Revell and her father, Kelly, turned the traditional father-daughter dance at her wedding into a show-stopper with a medley of dance moves to popular songs over the years, including "Teach Me How to Dougie." Video of it has been viewed more than 40 million times on TikTok, but it has an extra meaning to Brittany. "I think it's kind of unique to see a dad of Asian descent be able to open up, let loose and just embrace their American child's music and culture," she told us. Watch the video here. |

This couple's engagement photos might look like they were taken in front of a romantic Tuscan villa, but the only thing Tuscan about the location is the garlic chicken. Tennessee couple Carlsey Bibb and Caden Mills got their "Italy vibes" from a photoshoot in front of a local Olive Garden thanks to photographer Shea Cravens. "You are the best!!!!" Bibb wrote to Cravens on Instagram. "So so glad you had this idea!" We wish the happy couple a lifetime of never-ending pasta and bottomless breadsticks. |
