A former Alabama corrections officer is dead and the murder suspect she helped escape is in custody after a police chase.

Vicky White, the former Alabama corrections officer accused of helping inmate Casey White escape and leading police on a tense manhunt, was pronounced dead after a police chase ended in a crash in Indiana on Monday. Casey White, who is in custody, told police when he surrendered, "Please help my wife, she just shot herself in the head, and I didn't do it," the U.S. Marshals Service told NBC News. Police were alerted to their whereabouts when a business owner provided surveillance video showing Casey White at a car wash in Evansville, officials said.

About 31% of formula products were out of stock last month due to a combination of product recalls, inflation and supply chain shortages, according to a retail data analysis company. "I've been begging friends who work in retail to call me as soon as they get a shipment," one mom told us. "I don't know what to do at this point." Police want to know how 3 Americans died suddenly at a popular 5-star resort in the Bahamas.

An investigation is underway on the island of Grand Exuma in the Bahamas after three Americans were found dead at the Sandals Emerald Bay resort. The victims were identified on Monday. One couple was celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary; the husband was found dead in his villa, while his wife woke up feeling "paralyzed." She's now at a hospital in Florida. Police don't suspect foul play, and some of the victims reported feeling ill the day before.
