Apple to pay up to $500 million for slowing down older iPhones

To settle a class-action lawsuit, Apple will pay up to $500 million. The company is accused of deliberately slowing down older iPhones to spur customers to buy newer models. As part of the settlement, Apple' will pay former owners of iPhone 6 and 7 models $25 per phone.
