That includes pomegranates. It turns out tearing up and eating a pomegranate is one of the most fun and healthiest things you can do, especially for your heart, says nutritionist Keri Glassman.

Studies have shown the consumption of pomegranate can have benefits when it comes to preventing circulatory damage by reducing the buildup of harmful fat in your arteries. Try it by adding the seeds to your oatmeal, a fall kale salad or buckwheat pancakes.
