Try ‘pink noise’ to help with deep sleep and memory

Creating a continuous, soothing sound backdrop might help some people with sleep. But not all sound is created equal. The best sound to help you get quality deep sleep and target the memory-forming period called slow wave sleep might be "pink noise," researchers said. Playing lower-frequency sounds in bursts, or pink noise, can have a different effect than the white noise standard in many sound machines. Pink noise could even help with age-related memory challenges.
