Late actress Carrie Fisher will appear as Princess Leia in "Star Wars: Episode IX." Director J.J. Abrams said in a statement that Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, gave her blessing to include her in the film, which will use unseen footage from "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
