Feeling lonely? Here's some advice

At face value, social media seems like a great thing: A low-key way to interact with your friends and family. But have you ever noticed that after scrolling through Instagram or Facebook, you actually feel worse? A recent study found that the more time young people spent on social media, the more likely they were to experience feelings of loneliness.

Here's what you can do: Limit your alerts. Getting pings from all of your social media accounts all day long can make it a challenge to live in the moment – and be present with the people around you.
