On Wednesday, we lost Mary Tyler Moore who beyond the silver screen inspired us for years with our style choices. From her role as Laura Petrie on "The Dick Van Dyke Show" to the red carpet, Moore was always a leader in the world of fashion. As Petrie, she wore everything from glamorous gowns to trendy cigarette pants and pussy bow blouses. We also can't forget her signature flipped 'do as Mary Richards in her namesake show. When it came to award show dressing, Moore was always chic and sophisticated.
This week was also filled with the rise of lots of new beauty trends, from wire nails to hair dusting to even the return of crimped hair, 2017 is proving to be filled with quite a few must tries and it's still only January. When it comes to fashion, we're seeing everything from pleated skirts, pink and purple to even the revival of vans be top trends.
With all that in mind, here's our mantra for 2017: New year. New trends. New you. | | | | | |
