Everyone loves a good #cakefail, and this one involved a TikToker sharing the most ominous words you can hear from a bakery employee when picking up a cake for a party: "I'm sorry, I did my best." A birthday cake that a woman ordered for a coworker named Steve didn't exactly turn out like she hoped. "I love this so much," one commenter wrote. "Five stars, no notes." |

It was a grizzly situation at Starbucks in November when the release of its new Bearista Cups created a Stanley Cup-level craze of customers battling for the bear-shaped vessel. The 20-ounce glass cups had some people lining up at 4 a.m. to get the coveted cup and others straight-up wrestling one another to get their paws on one. Resale sites listed the $30 cups for $250. Could people really be that attached to a company logo? If the old-timer in the Cracker Barrel logo could talk, he would reckon that yes, it matters very much. A change to a text-only logo and a planned remodeling of certain locations of the folksy restaurant chain touched off a firestorm in August that had everyone from irate customers to President Donald Trump weighing in. The company ultimately scrapped the new logo and the planned remodel. |

An emotional dog owner had an unusual request for his local Texas Roadhouse in Pennsylvania when his family's beloved Great Dane faced the last moments of her life. Hunter Metzger ordered an eight-ounce New York strip steak with some sides as the final meal for his dog Iris, who was set to be euthanized. "Please prepare with love," he wrote in his online order. The Texas Roadhouse staff more than delivered. |
