In remarks at the White House last night, President Biden forcefully defended himself against charges that he suffers from memory loss. His comments were in response to special counsel Robert Hur's report on his handling of classified information in which Hur characterized Biden as "an elderly man with a poor memory." The report claimed that Biden didn't remember what year his son Beau died. "How in the hell dare he raise that," Biden fumed. Hur declined to prosecute the president, but found that Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen." One Democratic congressman called the report "a nightmare" for Biden's reelection prospects. Here's the latest. |

Is a second straight Chiefs victory in the Super Bowl written in the stars? It just might be. We asked four astrologers who will win Sunday's showdown in Super Bowl 58, and all four think the Chiefs will be the first repeat champs since the Patriots in 2003-04. See how they came up with their predictions (after nailing last year's result, too). |

A little pick-me-up before you go. |
When a student with a ripped winter jacket gave it to his eighth-grade science teacher to be fixed, he got more than just a repaired coat in return. The teacher's 17-year-old daughter sewed up the rip and added a note that lifted the boy's spirits. "Sorry I couldn't make it as invisible as I hoped, but I did my best," she wrote. "Also since you're in 8th grade I thought you could use some 11th grade advice. MIDDLE SCHOOL SUCKS. YOU'RE ALMOST FREE. YOU CAN MAKE IT." The teacher told TODAY.com the student was grinning when he showed off the note, and then the boy handed the teacher his own note for his daughter. See what he wrote here. |
