Anyone who's ever worked on a major project and seen it go up in smoke has nothing on Richard Plaud. The Frenchman spent the last eight years painstakingly piecing together 706,900 matchsticks to make a 23.6-foot model of the Eiffel Tower to beat the existing world record by two feet. However, Guinness World Records told him last week that he used the wrong type of matchsticks because they couldn't easily be bought in stores. A little pick-me-up before you go. |
Jeremiah Fennell has already worked with NFL Network, interviewed Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, and talked with retired football legends. The budding broadcast star also happens to only be 11 years old. Fennell is making the most of his opportunity this week with Super Bowl 58 being in his home city of Las Vegas. He wowed stars like Mahomes, Kelce, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle in one-on-one interviews ahead of the Chiefs-Niners showdown. Fennell is hoping to be an NFL fixture for decades to come. "I do think I can keep this as a career because I do still love the sport and I do know a lot about it, so I think that interviewing people can be a long career for me," he said on NFL Network. See his Super Bowl interviews here. |
