Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was diagnosed with prostate cancer last month and developed a urinary tract infection from a procedure he underwent to treat it, officials at Walter Reed National Military Center said. Austin, 70, remained in the hospital yesterday after being admitted on Jan. 1, and his stay has included a trip to the intensive care unit. The Defense Department took three days to inform the White House about Austin's hospitalization, prompting criticism from lawmakers. A little pick-me-up before you go. |
If you're going to land the big toy, you gotta have a plan. Auggie Gallagher's father, Thomas, told him he could pick out a toy at the store only if it fit in his hand. But the 3-year-old had designs on a Fisher-Price DJ table, and that meant he needed to figure out how to handle its large box. In a video his dad shared on Instagram, Auggie propped the box on a shelf, opened a flap, and then picked it up with one hand. He followed the slick maneuver by looking at his dad like, "We good?" Auggie's father could only laugh. "He's a clever little guy and always thinking about how he can get the things he wants," Thomas told us. See the cute moment here. |
