Former President Donald Trump cemented his status as the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination by easily winning the Iowa caucuses last night, NBC News projects. His final margin of victory will surpass the record 13 points that Sen. Bob Dole of Kansas won by in the 1996 Republican caucuses, NBC News also projects. Florida Gov. 🏈 Jason Kelce plans to retire from the NFL after an emotional playoff loss.

Jason Kelce's brilliant NFL career appears to have come to an end. The Philadelphia Eagles center informed his teammates that he plans to retire after last night's season-ending, 32-9 playoff loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, league sources told ESPN. Immediately following the game, the star lineman declined any questions about whether he was retiring. Kelce was seen blinking back tears and hugging teammates on the sideline near the end of the loss in Tampa Bay.
