We're gearing up to start an ambitious challenge next week — logging 100 miles in 31 days. If walking isn't already a part of your routine, it can be encouraging to hear how the simple movement has helped others. Singer Kelly Clarkson recently opened up about her weight loss, and you guessed it, she credits walking around New York City as the workout that helped her shed pounds. Walking also played a big role in 81-year-old Harry King's journey. The now personal trainer once battled joint pain due to arthritis and was told to stop walking altogether. He did the opposite and is now stronger than ever. We're still looking for members to walk with Al Roker and Stephanie Mansour LIVE in New York City on Monday, January 8th. If you're in the New York area and can make it to the plaza, sign up here! |

Kelly Clarkson opens up about how she's 'dropped weight' |
Kelly Clarkson recently opened up about the diet and exercise routines she's adopted that have helped her slim down. The singer and daytime talk show host, who relocated with "The Kelly Clarkson Show" to New York City last year, told People magazine she's "dropped weight" as part of her overall wellness regimen. "Walking in the city is quite the workout. I'm really into infrared saunas right now. And I just got a cold plunge because everybody wore me down," the singer said of the changes. As for her diet, Clarkson isn't doing anything extreme. These are the simple diet changes that helped her lose weight. |
