This is the first one-on-one contest between the two candidates after Gov. Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy dropped out of the race following the Iowa caucuses. Morgan Newman, 33, is sharing what it's like to be treated for cervical cancer at 24 and encouraging others to get the HPV vaccine to prevent the illness. Newman told TODAY.com she experienced pain and bleeding after sex that she initially dismissed before an abnormal pap smear led to her diagnosis. "As women, we really truly downplay our symptoms, our pain because we have so much else that we're juggling," Newman said. She and another cervical cancer survivor, Anna Ogo, 35, opened up about their arduous treatment and surgeries, and the stigma of "shame and guilt" involving HPV. Read more. |
