A day after visiting an active war zone in Israel, President Joe Biden explained why he is calling for a huge aid package for Ukraine and Israel to help win their respective wars in a rare prime-time address last night. Biden may ask Congress for $60 billion in aid to Ukraine and a total of $40 billion for Israel, Taiwan and the U.S.-Mexico border, people familiar with the matter told NBC News. "History has taught us that when terrorists don't pay a price for their terror — when dictators don't pay a price for their aggression — they cause more chaos and death and more destruction," Biden said in his address. Here's the latest. |

Jaqueline Adan worked hard to shed 350 pounds, but remained frustrated when her legs still looked so big. Adan, 36, rode her bike for hours after her doctors told her to lose more weight. She soon learned she had lipedema, a condition where fat tissue collects in an abnormal way under the skin. "I was in pain, and pretty much all the doctors were saying the same thing: 'You're just gaining too much weight and you need to lose weight,'" she told TODAY.com. There's no cure for lipedema, but Adan said she felt "relief" knowing there was a reason for her health issues. She shared her story on Instagram to raise awareness and help others who might have lipedema. "I'm doing what I need to do without feeling shame, guilt, frustration," she said. Continue reading. |

A little pick-me-up before you go. |
It seems NFL running back Rashad Jennings never saw "Pulp Fiction" or "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" given his hilariously wrong guess on "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune." The category was "Rhyme Time," and all that was missing on the screen was a "Q" to solve the puzzle, "Driving to Reno with Quentin Tarantino." Instead, though, Jennings guessed "P" as the missing letter. The former New York Giant knew ahead of time that the jokes were going to fly on social media about "Puentin Tarantino." "Catch me on Wheel Of Fortune tomorrow night! You will definitely get a laugh," he wrote on Instagram. |
