The bodies of four friends between the ages of 29 and 32 who were reported missing on Oct. 9 were found with gunshot wounds and dismembered after being dumped in a river, police said yesterday. Following a search of a salvage yard and nearby properties five minutes from the river, police said investigators found evidence of a "violent event" on one of the adjoining properties. Authorities said they are now searching for the owner of the salvage yard as a person of interest. And it wasn't just a friendly bike ride. A witness said the four men left one of their homes together on bicycles and planned to commit a criminal act, police said. |

Ozempic is an expensive drug used to treat Type 2 diabetes, but it has become the weight loss drug of choice for people from Hollywood to the Hamptons, as well as the talk of TikTok. The drug is injected to improve blood sugar, but one of the side effects is weight loss because it makes patients feel full longer. Many people are using it off-label, and shedding pounds. "Everyone is suddenly showing up 25 pounds lighter. What happens when they stop taking #Ozempic?" Bravo star Andy Cohen tweeted last month. But now there's a problem: Diabetics who need it can't get the drug, which can cost around $900 a month if not covered by insurance. Watch TODAY at 8 a.m. for a new report, plus thoughts from our own Dr. Natalie Azar. |

Keith McNally, owner of famed New York City restaurant Balthazar, wrote on Instagram yesterday that the host of "The Late Late Show" is a "tiny Cretin of a man" and had been "86'ed" for allegedly abusive behavior toward the restaurant staff. McNally provided two alleged recent examples, calling Corden the most abusive customer to the servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago. However, McNally then rescinded the ban last night, writing on Instagram that Corden had called him and "apologized profusely" and that McNally believes "strongly" in second chances. |

This future Marine is coming home from boot camp soon, and he is ready to eat enough comfort food for an entire battalion. The sister of an unnamed recruit shared his food wishlist on Reddit for the 10 days he will be home after graduating from boot camp, and people have marveled at the sheer artery-hardening majesty of it. Doritos, In-N-Out Burgers, Arby's, Pizza Hut, Popeyes, Dairy Queen - it's the Murderer's Row of decadent food. His 13 weeks at boot camp have given him an appreciation for all the guilty food pleasures life has to offer. "He hasn't really said much about what he eats besides he has to eat it really fast," his sister Emily told us. "Once he said there was a salad bar but he never mentioned it again, but he talks about peanut butter packets a lot!" |
