Experts recommend investors stay calm through volatility, reduce debt and have emergency savings ready. "Typically doing nothing is the best trade you can make," CNBC co-anchor Andrew Ross Sorkin told us. "The next several months are going to be very, very bumpy."

Crawford, whose mother died of spinal cancer when he was 9, shared the heart-wrenching experience of how he worked for months to finally get her name chiseled onto her gravestone.
