Ashley and Wynonna Judd asked the Country Music Hall of Fame to proceed with inducting the mother-daughter duo The Judds on Sunday, one day after Naomi Judd's death at 76. The daughters remembered the country music legend in an emotional, eight-minute speech. "My momma loved you so much, and she appreciated your love for her, and I'm sorry that she couldn't hang on until today," Ashley said. The daughters said they lost their mother "to the disease of mental illness," and Naomi Judd was open about her struggles with depression.

A manhunt is underway for an alleged killer and the corrections officer who walked him out of an Alabama jail.

The FBI has joined the search for capital murder suspect Casey White and corrections officer Vicky White (no relation), who both disappeared after the officer said she was transferring him from an Alabama jail on Friday, police said. Authorities said there are mounting questions about whether she helped him escape after submitting retirement papers a day before she disappeared. "All indications are that she assisted his escape," the Lauderdale County sheriff said.

"It's a handful, but we are grateful," she told us.
