A California woman successfully sued Carnival Corporation for $300,000 in damages over injuries she sustained from a falling down a flight of stairs while drunk on one of the company's vacation cruises. Diana Sanders, 45, said she suffered a "concussion, headaches, a possible traumatic brain injury, back injuries, tailbone injuries, bruising, and other injuries" in a "severe fall" after she was served 14 shots of tequila over an eight-hour period, according to court documents cited by the Miami Herald.
