Former President Donald Trump took another step toward securing the Republican presidential nomination by defeating his lone rival, Nikki Haley, in yesterday's primary voting in New Hampshire. The victory made Trump the first non-incumbent to win both the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary. No Republican has won both and failed to take the party's nomination. Haley vowed to keep battling for the nomination after finishing second. "New Hampshire is first in the nation. It is not the last," Haley told supporters. "This race is far from over." Here's the latest. |

The 2024 Oscar nominations came out yesterday, with "Oppenheimer" predictably leading the way with 13 nods, but there were also some eye-opening exclusions. "Barbie's" Margot Robbie was not nominated, but Ryan Gosling, who played Ken, was. Director Greta Gerwig was also snubbed. And the hype around "Saltburn" went out with the bathwater, as the buzzy thriller didn't receive any nominations. For more, check out all the snubs and surprises, plus, see how Danielle Brooks (above, left) reacted live on TODAY after earning her first nod for "The Color Purple." |

Few things send some people into a tornado of scrubbing dishes, throwing stuff in the closet and wiping down counters faster than knowing friends or family are stopping by. The trend of "scruffy hospitality" rejects all of that in favor of letting people into your real life by being comfortable with them popping in, regardless of the current state of your home. We spoke with people who practice it, and where they draw the line. (Maybe clean those toilets ...) Read more. |

A little pick-me-up before you go. |
A couple from Wisconsin are calling their baby boy "Little McFlurry" after a birth that will make for quite a story when they take him for his first Happy Meal one day. Analysia Beck and her husband, Daniel, 27, were racing to the hospital on Jan. 11 when Analysia realized she wasn't going to make it. They pulled over in a McDonald's parking lot at 3:55 a.m. in the middle of a snowstorm and called 911. "I pushed three times and he came out," Analysia told us. "The paramedic barely made it, but they were there to catch him." Between the McDonald's and the blizzard, they felt nicknaming him "Little McFlurry" was "only fitting." See photos of the adorable baby boy here. |
