Former President Donald Trump said at a rally in New Hampshire on Saturday night that immigrants coming to the U.S. are "poisoning the blood of our country." The Biden campaign criticized his remarks, likening them to Adolf Hitler, who used the term "blood poisoning" in his manifesto, "Mein Kampf," while criticizing immigration and the mixing of races. In a separate incident, a sedan crashed into a Secret Service vehicle that was part of Biden's motorcade in Delaware last night. Secret Service agents surrounded the sedan with guns drawn, while Biden and the first lady were taken away unharmed. The cause of the crash was not immediately clear. Here's the latest. |

A renewed spotlight has been put on the use of ketamine as a therapy tool after the medical examiner said "Friends" star Matthew Perry died at his home from "acute effects" of the drug. Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic that can cause hallucinations, and recently it has been used to treat mental health disorders. In his memoir released last year, Perry revealed he received ketamine treatments to help ease depression, saying the drug was like being "hit in the head with a giant happy shovel." But he also wrote using it felt like "dying" and ultimately "was not for me." Read more. |

Demi Lovato is entering 2024 as an engaged woman, as she announced on Instagram yesterday that her boyfriend of one year, Jordan "Jutes" Lutes, proposed to her. The 31-year-old singer, who came out as nonbinary in 2021 and uses she/they pronouns, uploaded a romantic photo of her and Lutes staring into each other's eyes. "I'm still speechless," she wrote in the caption. "Last night was the best night of my life and I can't believe I get to marry the love of my life."
