Commerce Editor, Shop TODAY |
| October is already over halfway through, which means that fall is officially in full swing! In that spirit, commerce editor Evan Siegel is here to share his seasonal must-haves, from an all-black pair of boots to an herbaceous soy candle, plus his skin care secret weapons. |

| I'm a candle purist: I prefer 100% vegan wax. I just can't abide by paraffin, because I swear that I can smell the difference (yes, it has occurred to me that I might just be a snob). With that said, P. F. Candle Co. makes some of the most affordable soy candles on the market, and in a variety of scents. I could wax poetic about the "Wild Herb Tonic": It's not necessarily a "fall" scent, but it's one of the best smelling and most unique that I've tried from the company. |

As my fellow eczema sufferers know, the colder months are not friendly to our skin. My hands get especially dry, so a cream is essential to have at all times. This "treatment" from Malin + Goetz is quick to absorb and has a subtle almond scent that I'd sniff a lot more if holding my hands to my nose didn't look so strange. |

| I have complained about this to colleagues and now I'll complain about it to you: I hate the look of power strips! That's where this box comes in handy: It's not necessarily "attractive," but it's certainly a lot cleaner looking than a bunch of naked outlets. It has spaces on the sides that cords can snake through while still concealing the ugly strip within. Plus, there's even an option for a wood-effect lid! |

As much as I dread the drop in temperatures that fall brings, there's at least a silver lining: The opportunity to wear boots! While Dr. Martens are universally beloved for their quality and style, I never liked the way that their trademark yellow stitching clashed with my (mainly black and gray) wardrobe. Did you know, however, that the company makes an all-black pair? I practically live in mine! |

| Transitional weather requires transitional clothing, and light jackets are a great way to add layers and embellishment to an otherwise simple outfit. I think that everyone needs (at least) one denim jacket in their wardrobe, and this one from Levi's features sherpa lining for extra warmth. Plus, it comes in a number of colors and washes. (I, of course, have it in black). |

I received this as a gift from my partner and now swear by it. It's one of the thickest moisturizers I've ever used, but that doesn't mean it feels slimy or gross on the skin. No, it feels luxurious. Because it's so thick, I use it at night (a little goes a long way), and always wake up with a refreshed, hydrated complexion! |

| As much as I like skin care, sometimes I can get lazy. When I don't have time for a multi-step routine, I turn to this serum from Olay. It packs in a whopping five active ingredients: AHA, vitamin C, niacinamide, collagen peptide and vitamin E. I follow it up with my Skinfix moisturizer and call it a day. Easy! |

Having a monochromatic wardrobe makes putting outfits together easy. But finding the right dark shirt or dark pair of pants in an equally dark closet? That's another story. So, I recently picked up a pair of these cheap puck lights from Energizer. They take three AAA batteries each and come with double-sided tape to install. Let there be light! |
