President Joe Biden arrived in Tel Aviv this morning to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (above) and demonstrate U.S. solidarity with Israel ahead of an expected ground assault against Hamas. Biden also said he was "deeply sad and outraged" about a blast at a hospital in Gaza City that killed hundreds yesterday. Israeli and Palestinian officials each blamed the other side for the explosion, which one doctor working at the facility called "absolute carnage." In the wake of the blast, hundreds of civilians took to the streets in Lebanon, Jordan, Iran, Turkey and the West Bank to show support for Palestinians in Gaza. Biden initially planned to meet with Arab leaders at a summit in Jordan, but the event was canceled following the explosion. Here's the latest. |

Congress has now gone two weeks without a speaker of the House after Republican Rep. Jim Jordan failed to secure enough votes to become speaker on the first ballot yesterday. Jordan received 200 votes, well short of the 217 necessary to win, as 20 Republicans voted for someone else. Another vote is scheduled for today at 11 a.m. ET. Jordan is the second Republican nominee to fall short after Rep. Steve Scalise withdrew his name from the race last week. Congress is unable to conduct regular business or pass any aid for Israel until a speaker is elected. Here's the latest. |

It's not just the name. There is actually a difference between regular yogurt and Greek yogurt — and it's all about protein. The straining process used to make Greek yogurt results in about 15 grams of protein in a 5-ounce serving, compared to 4-5 grams from regular yogurt. It's also low in fat and calories. Another fun fact: Greek yogurt has nothing to do with Greece. Learn more here, plus check out 6 healthy recipes using Greek yogurt. |

A little pick-me-up before you go. |
Lance Bass had a hilarious and unfortunate message for those in attendance in Los Angeles on Monday night at the Chargers-Cowboys game: He's not Taylor Swift. The former 'N Sync singer shared a video of himself at the game holding a sign that said "Not Taylor Swift" as he waved to fans on the jumbotron. "In case anyone was confused," he captioned his Instagram post. Bass had some fun with the fact that Swift herself has popped up at multiple NFL games as she supports rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. The move had fans cracking up in the comments. "Ok thank god because I was wondering!!" one wrote. |
