Two school districts about 30 miles outside Philadelphia closed campuses for a second straight day this morning as authorities continue to search for an escaped killer who has been spotted by security cameras in nearby woods, police said. More than 200 law enforcement officers have ramped up the search for Danelo Cavalcante, 34, a convicted murderer who has been on the run for seven days since escaping from Chester County Prison. He was most recently spotted on Monday by a trail camera at Longwood Gardens, a public venue in Chester County that remains closed today after the sighting, the owners said. Authorities are asking local residents to take precautions, and one resident spoke to TODAY about the "real panic moment" when he believed he spotted Cavalcante hiding out in his home.
