The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star was awarded $10.4 million in damages by a jury yesterday in the conclusion of a six-week trial after suing Heard for $50 million over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018. Heard was awarded $2 million in damages by the jury in her $100 million countersuit against Depp. Heard said in a statement that she was "heartbroken" and the disappointment she felt was "beyond words."
