In the third public hearing about the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, the House committee shared testimony yesterday about an angry phone call President Donald Trump made to then-Vice President Mike Pence on the morning of Jan. 6, 2021, pressuring Pence to block certifying President Joe Biden's victory and calling Pence "a wimp." The committee also cited a court filing saying members of the Proud Boys would have killed Pence if given a chance. House members also laid out evidence that attorney John Eastman told Trump that the plot to pressure Pence to block Biden's certification was unconstitutional, but Eastman pushed it anyway and later asked for a pardon.

Now Curry can bask in his latest title while spending time with his family — including his adorable 3-year-old son, Canon, who's already dribbling two basketballs at once just like dad.

A nurse who became a cancer patient says she was shaken by the hurdles, lack of kindness in health care.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Theresa Brown figured being a patient would be no sweat considering she is a veteran oncology and hospice nurse who works with patients every day. Instead, she was surprised at the unknown hurdles, emotional breakdowns and endless phone calls she had to face while trying to navigate her own care, even as someone inside the health care system. "It surprised me and made me realize we don't know what our patients are going through," she told us.
