One tip from trainer Stephanie Mansour is to increase the number of repetitions you're doing of an exercise while decreasing the amount of weight. So if you're doing 10 bicep curls with 10-pound weights for three sets, reduce the weight to 5 pounds and increase the reps to 15! Then repeat the set three times. This may take an additional 60 seconds, but it's a simple tweak to help build sleek muscles without bulking up.
